Sadness. You are a lonely
Rowboat swimming on my unbridled sea
Wanderer, I am wondering
Will death set me free
From your insatiable craving
To acquire my sodality?
Or are you an omnipresent ghost
Sewing traps to trap me in?
If so, I am already half lost
In your labyrinthine schemes
Sadness, against you I'm guileless
A little child, no more no less
You are as ancient as the wind
As old as human emotion
As treachery and sin
You who are unafraid of oblivion
Leave me in my devotion
To the search of meaning
In my weightless existence
Lest, my whole life will be skimming
In between recovering after daily traumas
And dying after car-crash coma
